Located in the the Northern Colorado Rocky Mountains, Cherokee Park Ranch is 42 mile north and west of the town of Fort Collins. An easy and pleasant one hour and forty-five minutes from the Denver International Airport you'll climb from 5200 to 7200 feet. You can rent a car or we can make the arrangements for you.

Transportation
Choose from two options to get from the Denver International Airport to Cherokee Park Ranch. Car rental or Shamrock Airport Express shuttle service.

Car Rental
All of the major car rental agencies have offices at Denver International Airport.

Shamrock Airport Express Shuttle:
Note: for this shuttle use, your flight must arrive by 1 PM on your arriving Saturday, and on your departing Saturday your flight must leave after 1 PM.

The commercial van service between the Denver International Airport and Ft. Collins, CO is Shamrock Airport Express shuttle. It runs every hour on Saturdays. The trip takes approximately one and a half hours. Should you decide to take the Shamrock Airport Express shuttle service, please fill out all the information on our red Advanced Guest Transportation form regarding your flight and we'll happily make the reservation for you. Upon making the reservation, we will send you a letter that explains exactly how, when, and where to catch the van.

Your flight times must get you into the airport in time to catch the 12:20 the 1:20 or the 2:20 shuttles. (Allow yourself at least 45 minutes to catch the shuttle.) We provide a courtesy pickup at the Hilton in Fort Collins, CO at 2 pm and 4 pm.

On your departing Saturday, your flight must be AFTER 1 PM. The earliest shuttle for your family returning back to the Denver International Airport is the 9:45 shuttle arriving at Denver International Airport at 11:45am. If your flights are before these arrival times, you will need to choose another option.

Climate and Weather
If you are accustomed to the hot, humid summers of the east and south, the wet and overcast Pacific Northwest, or even the dry and hot southwest, the Colorado weather will pleasantly surprise you. Most of our days are sunny with a very low humidity. Mornings and evenings are crisp requiring a light jacket or sweatshirt. Yes, even in the middle of July and August! Colorado summer weather is ideal for riding and being outside.
